About the Brand:

Antonym was founded in 2010. After several years of initial product development the makeup line was launched in 2013 at an industry event in Los Angeles. Since then, Antonym has had a wonderful reception.

The primary function of makeup is color so we set out to create a line of high quality make that perform just like premium makeup should, with the added benefit of having ingredients that are gentle on the skin. We also evaluated the packaging and chose bamboo as a natural and sustainable material which we use for our compacts as well as our brush handles. And that's why we called it Antonym.

Today, Antonym is an eco-luxe brand that is growing a niche presence in the US market and has also expanded to Australia, New Zealand and now successfully launched in Pakistan.

The baking process turns the foundation crème into a delicately textured powder that blends beautifully with skin for a flawless, radiant complexion, with light reflecting properties and multi-hued shades. 

My Experience:

Packaging:  This is the first International Certified Organic brand introduced in Pakistan.  It’s a great positive sign that now people are going to move forward and taking some positive step to promote Eco friendly products in beauty industry.  I was little bit conscious & confused, as we have two schools of thoughts in our market.  One focused on the product’s packaging and lacking in quality, 2nd they focused over the quality and won’t pay much attention over the packaging.  There are rarely some high end brands that pay attention to both. 

When I open the package,  I just shocked to see the packaging of the foundation. It’s a bamboo packaging, easily open, having mirror inside it.  A little tiny magnet inside it which is very powerful; close the lid very easily and smoothly. Light weight, easy to carry.  this bamboo beauty is wrapped in a beautiful  black & white Box.  All information related to the product is mentioned over the box and on product as well. 

Product:  This is first time in a beauty history, that Antonym introduced its Organic baked foundation in powder form.

It’s a matte foundation but after application it gives a dewy finish. pigmentation is amazing. It has adaptive quality, easily absorb into your skin and balance the skin tone. It gives light to medium coverage.

 If you are into full coverage than apply a thin layer of liquid foundation and sealed it with this foundation.

You can apply this foundation with kabuki brush, powder brush or with specific powder sponge.

This foundation is best for all ages especially those are not into heavy foundation/makeup and wants a lovely, lively fresh look. Staying power is more than 6 hours. 

Highly recommended to young girls, who are crazy for makeup but don’t know how to apply the foundation and or not allowed to paint their face through any heavy foundation. This foundation will give you natural, even and flawless dewy skin within a few seconds.

I know its bit expensive but it’s better to invest on good quality product rather than to waste lots of money on cheap product.

I must say this is the brand, which focused on packaging and quality both. My rating for this product is 5/5.
